My name is Lauryn Starke and I’m a 19 year old freshman at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. I’m currently majoring in Jouralism with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I’m a writer for the Marist Circle, my college newspaper and quite the theater buff. I love writing, politics, activism, art, and travel. I grew up in Northern Colorado, but I was originally born in Missoula, Montana.
This blog is my own little journal about my college experience. It’s complete with stories of my adventures, opinion articles, and maybe even some advice here and there. I plan to use it as an outlet for all things I’m passionate about and display the work I complete in my classes.
